Best Thing I Have Ever Done

I entered Miss Bury after being scouted while I was working. It seemed really interesting and I couldn’t wait to apply to see if I could get through.

The best part of everything was meeting everyone on the day of the final and meeting new friends.

Taking part in Miss Bury has given me confidence in myself to do whatever I want to do and also has made me want to do so many more different shows in the future.

If you’re thinking of entering Miss Bury go for it. It was the best thing I have ever done and you get to meet some fantastic people who you will stay friends with for a long time. It also gives you a confidence boost which is really nice as they make you look so good on the night.

Go For It!

I entered Miss Bury because people in my family have always said I should try out for something like this so I thought I would give it a go.

The best fun was leading up to the final as I was enjoying arranging and organising my charity fun day and working hard to get votes

Entering Miss Bury gave me more confidence.

If anyone is considering entering Miss Bury I’d say “Go for it and give it your best shot, you don’t have anything to lose!”

You Don’t Have To Be A Size Zero

I entered Miss Bury because I love to dress up, and I love proving that you don’t have to be a size 0 to get places in life. Also any excuse to raise money for charity I’m there!

The best part of the experience was raising so much money for charity and meeting new people.

Taking part in Miss Bury this has helped with my self-confidence.

If you’re thinking of entering then go for it. Even if you’ve had knock backs in the past, smile be yourself and most of all have fun.

Loved Meeting the Other Girls

I entered Miss Bury because I had tried other Miss England heats and enjoyed the shows. I really wanted to try my home town one and finally win because I was nearly at the age limit for entering and I wanted to have one last try.

I loved meeting the other girls and rehearsing on the stage, then having all my friends and family watch me try for the Miss Bury crown. It was all very exciting.

Taking part in Miss Bury rebuilt my confidence on stage. I was a very nervous public speaker but as soon as we had finished rehearsing and made friends with everyone I was at ease and ready to take to the stage and be myself.
